• ORDER THE CORRECT TAG FOR YOUR COLLAR - This ‘Closed End’ style CollarTag is made for single ply nylon collars that close with a pin type belt buckle. This style CollarTag CANNOT be installed on adjustable length collars / collars that close with a snap or clasp type buckle. If your collar has buckles on both ends and snaps together, choose our ‘Open End’ tags. Make sure to choose the tag style based on your collar type (see second image to determine which tag style to order).
• TEXT WON’T RUB OFF - Deeply engraved with a diamond under high pressure, these engraved cat tags are guaranteed to last the life of your pet. The text will not fade or wear off, even after years of use. These small dog tags can be personalized with 1 to 4 lines of engraved text.
• NO JINGLE SILENT PET TAG - In 1998, we designed this style of pet id tags for cats and dogs to solve the issue of hanging tags losing their lettering due to rubbing against other tags. • FITS MOST COLLAR SIZES - CollarTag sizes are based on the width of the collar your pet wears. Choose from Large (for 1 inch wide collars), Medium (for 3/4 inch wide collars), Small (for 5/8 inch wide collars), and X-Small (for 3/8 inch wide collars).
• EASY TO READ DEEP ENGRAVING - Tags are engraved in ALL CAPS. Text is centered on the tag, top to bottom and left to right. Text will be engraved as you enter it, including how you format the phone number. We can engrave these characters/symbols: A-Z 0123456789 . , : ' "" ( ) - / ? + = & % $ # @ !. These are some of the symbols we cannot engrave: less than symbol, tilde (~), underscore (_).
• CUSTOMIZATION - When deciding what to have engraved on your tag, consider how you want people to contact you, if by phone or by showing up at your house. Less text on the tag means larger lettering, which makes it easier for the finder of your lost pet to read.
